Challenging Inequality.

I’ve taken it upon myself to try to inform my reader’s and *Cough* One Follower (Thanks Chris :D), of my Recent Studies into Arabic and Middle Eastern Cultures. As well as my opinionated take on everything. Let's Start with my Main Discussion, Shall we?

Though it is still very so, that men are obviously the Dominate Gender - Many Feminist organizations and support groups have danced into the Spotlight in recent Decades. But, Let’s jump back sometime into our History here. Prior to the advent of Islam, the Darkest of Women’s Self Worth in Arab Society surfaces. No rights what’s so ever, and bought and traded for money. It was common for men to burry they’re infant daughter’s alive for ‘fear of the humiliation. Frequently caused by girls being captured by a hostile tribe and subsequently preferring their captors to their parents and brothers’…as well as the Economic Burden. After the Islamic rebirth of the Arab nation, Women became much more respected for they’re personhood, as well as a more Peaceful Nation emerged. Influential figures such as Muhammad the Prophet can be seen as someone who testified on behalf of women’s rights. Putting these dark ages behind as a Deep Crack in Arabian History. But, they’re Society has never stopped in the fight for Equality. Hell, Saddam Hussein himself was a Feminist. Many of his speeches and interviews were aimed at equal rights from Campaigning to interviews with Al-Mar, which are especially evident into late 70’s and early 80’s.

“Our society will remain backward and in chains unless its women are liberated, enlightened and educated”

Not that that is so impressive to my cause, because Saddam Hussein was a very very very evil man.

The realization that Arabian Women are still discriminated against - mainly due to traditional and Cultural practices over Religion- is still sadly evident. Just as you have your Extremist in the US, you have your Middle Eastern Pre-Islamic Extremists. -- As I’m sure it’s customary in some places such as Egypt (Who seem to be very Liberal and Pro-Change, as well as Arabic Speaking :}) will be much more Peaceful and Accepting to Female empowerment and Representation. While Places so overflowing with Despotism and Ignorance, such as Saudi Arabia, the only Arab Country where women don’t even have the Option to Drive a Car, let alone partake in any sort of Political election, or even think of perhaps nominating for a Leadership role. Which is all Strictly Prohibited.

CLOSING STATEMENT:
Although Culture and Religion are without a doubt the Building Blocks of an Arab nation, Tradition does not Justify the Discrimination and Restriction on Arab Women in Society. Recent Advances for Women’s right’s and Liberties (including Economy, Education, Social Status, and Politics) help me see a bright future for the Change and Equality in Arabian Societies as a whole.

“Here it is: I really hate Arabs. I don’t particularly hate Egyptians, and I have found Persians to be genuinely good people. Arabs, on the other hand, are fucking assholes. And I’ve come to the conclusion that I really don’t like any of them.” Now, this seems silly to me. You can’t possibly hate an Entire Society in itself, based off your Prejudices. What Arab’s have you come across? Or are you simply relying on the stereotypical BS your Hick Father commented about while you were growing up? Now being most people whom Stereotype this Nationality, based on they’re insufficient knowledge, and ill-informed resources also have a irrational and unfound hatred toward these people. I suppose this is where people get the idea that all Arab’s are middle aged male terrorist with big bushy beards and turbans.

Want to Read up on it, yourself? Here’s where I got a Lot of my Information for this Article, and where you can form your own opinions. I love a Good Debate. : ) Knock yourself out.

Two Lost Souls, in a Fish Bowl.

As of this moment I have not eaten all day, not shaved in a month, not washed my hair in three days, and not Romantically involved with anyone going on a year. Sure to say, I’m feeling pretty down… and a bit lonely.

I arranged movie’s tonight with some friends in hopes to get my spirits up.

Funny thing? They won’t notice anything is wrong with me.

Mother, May I Sleep with Danger?

I wrote a Letter to the Baby in Mum's Belly. A letter I want it to Read When it's my Age, on it's Birthday. The Letter Itself, is Only a Few Pages. The Baby, Only about the Size of a Coconut.

.. All 20,000 Leagues under the Sea. I'm Pretty Sure it has Fingernails, Though. :)

I'll Write Another Note once I know if It is A Boy or a Girl. Girl we're on the Verge of 'Violet', which is very Pretty, In My Opinion. It was Between that and Claudia (Yeah, Like the Little Vampire :D). Boy we're hoping Oliver. Carlos will come around Sooner or Later, Though Sooner would be more Desirable. Another Ultrasound on the 27th, the Last few Times, Baby decided to Sit Cross legged, Thus Rising the Anticipation of What IT is... Silly, Modest, Baby.

P.S.

I like him a Whole Lot More now, then I did this Morning...

Not Permitted to Women who are Pregnant, or May Become Pregnant.

Me and my mom decided to Take a Weekend Trip Down to New Orleans. We just got home. It’s not my first time there, but I think There is just something in the Air of a Big City that makes it feel like Home. You seem to Walk a bit Taller, be a bit Braver. Big Buildings seem like they would make you feel Fenced in, but it’s more like your in a Big Nest- nuzzled in, and Protected. We spent our Night filled with Ghost and Voodoo, as Anyone in New Orleans rightfully should.

In the Heart of The French Quarter- In a dreary Little Shop, Behind racks of Straw Dolls where Heart Broken women go to seek Revenge, I Found Myself looking into Big Brown Eye’s of an Attractive, Young Man - No Older than 30. “The Cards show Change in Your Future. ..” He more Flipped cards, Bringing Flashes of my Ancient Pokemon Duels in Grade School. Dream-Like and Abstract Symbols Fill up the Table. Someway or another, I find myself, Like thousands of Other Tourist, Drawn into New Orleans Underground Flirt with the Dark Arts. The guy who Read me, was a Pretty Cool Cat. He was in Juvie when he was my Age, and has been showing People they’re future for over 13 Years. He Told me and Warned me of - the Obvious things, like How horrible my Love life will be, All about Major Changes, Being Cautious of the People Around me who try to Take Advantage, And other, more Private things about the Next Six Months. If you’ve never gotten Read Before, I would. I’m not sure if I believe in it, But It’s the best Scam I could Recommend.

The City Its self was Pretty Great. Basic New Orleans Food (Gumbo, Rice and Beans.. Ext.), Old English Buildings all Glued together like apartments, Stone Streets. Then the Huge Skyscrapers Downtown...

My mom Finally got to See Bass and Out of Everything she could have said, she tag’s it as “Cute”. I’m not sure if she’s really Taking it seriously NOW, but at least cute is more Pro than Con, As Alex Puts It.

I've never been good at Introductions. It might have something to do with me being Awkward and Shy paired with my severe Verbal Diarrhea in Social Setting's. I'm Forist [fawr-ist], and I like to Write (rīt) and Boogie (boog-ee). Mainly, I'm into Bar Fights, African Tribal Dances, My Dog, Creeping, And Ice. As well as Boy's with no Standards, Morals or Self Esteem. (Much to my Dismay.)

The Main reasoning behind this Blog is to stay in touch with Family and Friends in a More intimate way once I'm Five hours yonder, and Surrounded by Unfamiliar Faces. I really want to have a little sanctuary to Ramble about my Day to Day experiences concerning this new Chapter of my Life, as well as a place where my Literary Creations can Mix and Mingle they're way into YOUR Dull day!
