Challenging Inequality.

I’ve taken it upon myself to try to inform my reader’s and *Cough* One Follower (Thanks Chris :D), of my Recent Studies into Arabic and Middle Eastern Cultures. As well as my opinionated take on everything. Let's Start with my Main Discussion, Shall we?

Though it is still very so, that men are obviously the Dominate Gender - Many Feminist organizations and support groups have danced into the Spotlight in recent Decades. But, Let’s jump back sometime into our History here. Prior to the advent of Islam, the Darkest of Women’s Self Worth in Arab Society surfaces. No rights what’s so ever, and bought and traded for money. It was common for men to burry they’re infant daughter’s alive for ‘fear of the humiliation. Frequently caused by girls being captured by a hostile tribe and subsequently preferring their captors to their parents and brothers’…as well as the Economic Burden. After the Islamic rebirth of the Arab nation, Women became much more respected for they’re personhood, as well as a more Peaceful Nation emerged. Influential figures such as Muhammad the Prophet can be seen as someone who testified on behalf of women’s rights. Putting these dark ages behind as a Deep Crack in Arabian History. But, they’re Society has never stopped in the fight for Equality. Hell, Saddam Hussein himself was a Feminist. Many of his speeches and interviews were aimed at equal rights from Campaigning to interviews with Al-Mar, which are especially evident into late 70’s and early 80’s.

“Our society will remain backward and in chains unless its women are liberated, enlightened and educated”

Not that that is so impressive to my cause, because Saddam Hussein was a very very very evil man.

The realization that Arabian Women are still discriminated against - mainly due to traditional and Cultural practices over Religion- is still sadly evident. Just as you have your Extremist in the US, you have your Middle Eastern Pre-Islamic Extremists. -- As I’m sure it’s customary in some places such as Egypt (Who seem to be very Liberal and Pro-Change, as well as Arabic Speaking :}) will be much more Peaceful and Accepting to Female empowerment and Representation. While Places so overflowing with Despotism and Ignorance, such as Saudi Arabia, the only Arab Country where women don’t even have the Option to Drive a Car, let alone partake in any sort of Political election, or even think of perhaps nominating for a Leadership role. Which is all Strictly Prohibited.

CLOSING STATEMENT:
Although Culture and Religion are without a doubt the Building Blocks of an Arab nation, Tradition does not Justify the Discrimination and Restriction on Arab Women in Society. Recent Advances for Women’s right’s and Liberties (including Economy, Education, Social Status, and Politics) help me see a bright future for the Change and Equality in Arabian Societies as a whole.

“Here it is: I really hate Arabs. I don’t particularly hate Egyptians, and I have found Persians to be genuinely good people. Arabs, on the other hand, are fucking assholes. And I’ve come to the conclusion that I really don’t like any of them.” Now, this seems silly to me. You can’t possibly hate an Entire Society in itself, based off your Prejudices. What Arab’s have you come across? Or are you simply relying on the stereotypical BS your Hick Father commented about while you were growing up? Now being most people whom Stereotype this Nationality, based on they’re insufficient knowledge, and ill-informed resources also have a irrational and unfound hatred toward these people. I suppose this is where people get the idea that all Arab’s are middle aged male terrorist with big bushy beards and turbans.

Want to Read up on it, yourself? Here’s where I got a Lot of my Information for this Article, and where you can form your own opinions. I love a Good Debate. : ) Knock yourself out.
